OASAS is New York State’s Office of Addiction Services and Supports. If you or someone you know is dealing with a DWI or DUI in New York state, you may be court ordered to receive an evaluation from a licensed clinical counselor certified through NYS OASAS.

I have worked in the field of substance abuse counseling for over 20 years. I have a great deal of professional and personal experience in working with individuals and their families who have faced the challenge of addiction. My approach begins with building your trust and empowering you to make the best choices for yourself and your loved ones.

By scheduling your DWI/DUI evaluation with me as your OASAS assessment provider, you can expect to attend two, 1-hour sessions at my office in New Rochelle, NY in which we will discuss the details of your DWI/DUI offense, and any previous offenses, as well as your history of drug and alcohol use. I will conduct a thorough psychological assessment that includes a detailed review of your background to ensure that we fully understand that breadth and depth of your current life situation. You will complete a few questionnaires and inform me of any concerns you may have. Any treatment recommended is on a voluntary basis.

Many people find our sessions to be helpful, as it gives them an opportunity to say out loud and review with someone in a safe and confidential environment many of the things they have been thinking but were not too sure on how to say it. After the assessment, people usually move forward with a better understanding of some of the things they have been struggling with throughout their life. They then leave having identified more productive ways to manage their life’s challenges.

Pricing

A complete OASAS Assessment is $400 which includes two 1- hour assessment sessions, required written assessment, and submission of completed assessment to your attorney.
